GLORIOUS GETAWAY (BRITISH AIRWAYS - HIGHLIFE)
AZIA CYPRUS

For most travelers, one boutique hotel per holiday is more than enough. Any more would be greedy. Take a short hop from London to Cyprus’s Azia hotel (pictured right) however and you can have a choice of three different hotels in one.

“The concept is to offer the personality of a boutique hotel but with wider services, larger grounds and activities that will suit all types of guests”, explains Dora Economides the owner. “We have three hotels next to each other, to suit different holidaymakers, but they also all work together as one resort”.

Azia Blue are cool, family-friendly bungalows. The Azia Club and Spa suites are ideal for young urbances, while the Residence offers stylish rooms for those wishing a private pampering break.

The family-run resort, based on the seafront a few kilometers from central Paphos can be arranged for those wanting to laze under the shade of the swaying trees.

With a Moroccan-inspired bar, a terraced restaurant with overflowing fuchsia, bougainvillea and breathtaking sea views, an interior design that uses natural stones, marble and carved woods, Azia is synonymous with barefoot glamour. It is also in rich of historic sites such as Aphrodite’s Rock and the Tombs of the Kings, as well as sun-drenched beaches, harbour tavernas and the Troodos mountains. That’s if you can find the impetus to remove yourself from your padded sun lounger. Don’t worry, there’s always tomorrow.
